Faye Louise Bean Elder
Written on May 20, 2015
I was born Faye Louise Bean on July 13, 1941, in Fort Worth, Texas. I'm married to Roger Dean Elder. We live in Arlington. I am a member of the First Baptist Church of Arlington where Roger and I were married.
I am a member of Charles Calvin McCoy Chapter, DRT in Arlington. I have been an active member since I joined in 2002. I am also a member of Lucretia Council Cochran Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution in Arlington, Johnson Creek Chapter U S Daughters of 1812, in Arlington and Julia Jackson Chapter of United Daughters of the Confederacy in Fort Worth. I belong to Arlington Genealogy Society and Everman Historical Society.
One of my interest is researching my family genealogy. Studying history goes hand and hand with research. I continue to do research and have added DNA to my search as well.
Another of my interests is dowsing. I learned to dowse from Marjorie Lee Burnett, a fellow DRT member. I saw her dowse on Texas Country Reporter and contacted her. She met me at our family cemetery and taught us to dowse. I have been dowsing and teaching dowsing ever since.
Birdville Historical Society will provide Chick Fil A Sandwiches and members are asked to bring complimentary side dishes to share. BHS will also provide drinks and all paper goods to enjoy the meal with other historians.
